It's been busier than expected
If you read our last post, you’ll remember we were planning to take it easy and focus on other things while maintaining the momentum of what we had already completed in the project. Well, we didn’t have the privilege, and that’s a good thing.
An invitation from abroad
In Q2, Arcadia was approached by Infrastructure Ventures, a venture capital firm and incubator based in Portugal. Following our initial discussions, we were invited to join their incubation program, and we agreed to participate.
While this is not technically our first incubation experience -we had previously been invited to and completed a program through our local Chamber of Commerce, very early in the project- it is our first opportunity to work with an international partner in this capacity.
Seeing this come our way when we least expected certainly boosted our morale after a rough start this year.
Familiar steps, different perspectives
We are still at the beginning of the process, but the materials and guidance provided so far have been remarkably straightforward and useful. It is interesting to see different approaches to the same fundamental steps of building a startup, particularly when those approaches come from people with different backgrounds and operating environments.

We also expect the incubation process to align closely with what we are developing for Arcadia Global going forward. That gives the work a practical dimension beyond an academic exercise: instead of just validating what we’ve already done, it will help trim and polish it for the real-world operating environment.
Another conversation going on
Separately, we are in discussions with an experienced entrepreneur based in Orlando, whom we first met earlier in the year while reaching out to Florida brokers and realtors for our estate liquidation initiative.
There are some juicy possibilities taking shape in that conversation 🍊. We will share more as soon as we figure out how AG plays in those plans.
